Slavery to Freedom
Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2 pm
David Osborne, a historian at St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site in Mount Vernon, will discuss Ruth Turner’s journey from slavery to freedom in the shadow of St. Paul’s Church.
Play with Clay
Thursday, Feb. 13, 11 am
Join members of the Pottery Section in the club’s Bette Burson Library from 11 am to 1 pm for an interactive demonstration. We will make a hand-sculpted gnome and a small embossed bowl. No experience necessary! Please text Janis Bisordi at (914) 589-8176 to reserve your spot.

Rick Feingold, who holds an MBA from Penn State University and teaches business history, will discuss “How Barbie, an American Icon, Came to Be.” Learn about Ruth Handler, Barbie’s, Barbie’s creator.
